Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!   

Wow....I can't believe how fast the year has gone by.  My Dad always told me that the older you get, the faster time goes.  That must be true because this year I swear the leaves blossomed into their Fall colors back in May.   There ought to be a law against time going by so quickly.   

The Bible confirms that life does indeed go by rapidly.   It says that each of us is like a vapor that appears for a moment and then is gone.  Wanna get a better picture of that? Next morning that the temperature is below freezing, go outside, open your mouth and exhale.  See your breath?  That's a vapor.  See how quickly it is gone?  The Bible says that is how fast our time on this earth passes.    

That could be a pretty depressing thought: if this life was all there was.   But the Word of God expressly tells us that every person is going to live forever somewhere: either in a place of eternal joy or a place of eternal punishment.  

Eternity is a long time.   In fact, it is virtually impossible for us humans to imagine it.  We want to say, "OK, everything ends here!"   But the Bible insists that eternity awaits each of us.   

I would think that it would be everyone's priority to make certain that they spend eternity in the right place.   It’s not so hard to do.  You just have to know the right Person.   His name is Jesus and He makes no bones about being the only One who can get you into eternity.  Check it out for yourself
