Bill's Blotter, I heard way back in Bible College that one of the great "perks" of being a preacher is that you get to speak for a half hour every Sunday and no one interrupts you. Not true. Twice during my 17-plus years at Rose Hill my sermon has been interrupted: not rudely, but by individuals who respectfully raised their hand to ask a question. I think that is great. The fact is most preachers have moments when they do not clearly and adequately express their ideas. Or, if the speaker is clear, the hearer still may have a problem grasping the concept. So I have no problem whatsoever with someone raising a question in an orderly manner. But why bring that up here? After all, you are reading this article...you aren't listening to me speak. You may never attend Rose Hill where you could interrupt and ask a question. But what if you have a question right now that you would like to ask: something about the Bible that you have always wanted to know, but no one ever addressed the issue? Go ahead and ask now. Seriously. Simply go to the General Feedback link on the right side of this website's Home Page. Fill out the information and ask your question. Address your request to "Bill Hunt". I promise to get back to you ASAP. I could send the answer directly to your email or, if you wish, I could address your question in a Blotter article. I am not at all saying that I am the Answer Man: if I don't know the answer I will tell you that. But at the same time there is no sense keeping your questions bottled up inside of you. Go ahead and ask! Seriously! Hoping to hear from YOU! Bill
